New Year, A Fresh Start: Heart-Centered Living in 2025

Hello! I'm finally back at it ...

As the calendar flips to 2025, I find myself reflecting on the whirlwind of changes over the past year. After deciding and then selling my retreat center property, Ripple on Silver Lake, I've been navigating major transitions, embracing new beginnings and trying to make some sense of what's happening in the world. If my silence in your inbox felt like I’d drifted away, I assure you, my heart has been here all along, quietly preparing for what’s next.

In the face of a noisy world, I’ve made a choice: to focus not on what I can’t control, but on how I respond to the events that are happening around me. This year, I’m recommitting to my mission of living—and helping others live—a heart-centered life.

2025 is a year for hope, clarity, and action. It’s a year to create spaces for transformation, share stories that inspire, and practice what I teach. I’m excited to invite you on this journey as we rise above the chaos together and focus on what truly matters in life.

To start the year off right, I’d love to share my latest blog post:
Living with Heart in a Noisy World

Good morning! Three days ago, I quietly published a book on Amazon. It's the first mini book of my new What I’ve Learned from Other People’s Kids That Parents Need to Know series. It’s based on 20+ years teaching sex ed in classrooms, running teen health clinics, mentoring peer educators and answering the real questions kids don’t always ask their parents. The stories are raw. The lessons are real. And it's jam packed with insight about where teens are coming from and how parents can best...
