The Quieter Kind of Joy

Hi,

Lately, I’ve been noticing something deeper about joy.

Not the louder, more obvious kind of joy.
Not the performative kind of joy.
Something quieter. Something subtle. And more available than I may have realized before.

This week’s blog post is a reflection on unexpected joy and how love often lives right in the middle of ordinary life ... even when life feels hard.

Hi, I’ve been thinking a lot about the strange tension between gratitude and longing. The way we can be deeply thankful for the life we have, the people we love, the safety, the simplicity, and the blessings … and still feel something inside us quietly asking for more. This week’s post is about that place. You can read it here: https://www.amatterofmagic.com/blog/you-can-be-grateful-and-still-want-more#/ With love, Trisha

Hi, Two years ago, I wrote a blog post called Embracing the Hallway. At the time, I thought I was writing about a temporary transition. Today, I’m realizing something I couldn’t fully see then. Maybe the hallway was never just the place between what was and what’s next. Maybe it was where the becoming has been happening all along. This week’s reflection is here: The Hallway Wasn’t a Waiting Room After All With love,Trisha

Hi, I missed my usual Tuesday blog post. At first, I wanted to call it procrastination ... but then I noticed what was really happening. Maybe I wasn’t failing, even if my inner dialogue suggested otherwise. Maybe I needed a pause. This week’s reflection is here: When Procrastination May Actually Be a Sign You Need a Pause With love,Trisha
